Sails up in harbour, Paimpol

Sails up in harbour, Paimpol
SOLD

Here you go, the completed painting! Hope you like it. I really do, it was so worth me being a little more patient than usual. I can't wait to give it a coat of retouching varnish because it will really bring out the deep dark colours and provide a pleasing all over sheen. Next job is the framing!

And here's a close-up...

  1. Oh WOW!!!!!! what a beautiful painting. I'm speechless (and that takes some doing), a truly inspirational series and a breathtaking end product. I cant get anywhere near this but I feel spurred on to work and improve. Once again, thank you so much for sharing this.

  2. Haidee, this is a superb painting. And so interesting to see your drawing and plein air process before the studio work. Fabulous, what an inspiration you are! Royal Society of Marine Artists submission next year? I loved the recognition you got on Making a Mark today, well done.
